My Specialty:

Neurodivergence/Autism Spectrum/Hypermobility/Ehlers Danlos Syndrome

I have been teaching for five years and specialize in teaching those who are neurodivergent and/or who are on the autism spectrum. I also have experience in teaching those who have learning disabilities such as dyslexia. Additionally, I also help students who have hypermobility and/or Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. While I am not a medical professional and cannot diagnose, treat, monitor, or prevent any disease or illness, I myself have both hypermobility and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. During music lessons, I focus on posture, position, limiting muscle tension/tightness, and ensuring students' musical habits do not damage or add stress to the nerves and connective tissues. I advise all students who have hypermobility or Ehlers Danlos Syndrome to monitor and treat their condition directly through their medical providers.

I have experience and specialize in teaching students who are neurodivergent and/or who are on the autism spectrum. Private music lessons are personalized and tailored to each students' individual learning style.
